Itinerary

Day 1Puno City - Uros Islands - Amantani Island

Around 08:00 a.m. we will pick you up at your hotel in the city of Puno. Then, we will drive our personal vehicle to the port of Puno to take a boat to the famous Uros islands. Wear warm clothes because the temperature of Lake Titicaca is cold and dry.

You will get a guided tour of the magical place after we arrive at the Uros islands. You will learn about the ancient methods used by the Uros to build and preserve their artificial islands. In addition, you will have the opportunity to buy various regional souvenirs, including traditional clothing. You can also take a ride on a reed raft as an extra activity.

After that, we will leave for the impressive island of Amantaní. It takes about three hours by boat to reach this island. You will be given a guided tour of this picturesque island after we arrive at Amantani. You will gain knowledge about the peculiar traditions and practices of the Amantani people.

You will eat a typical lunch with your host family after your initial tour of Amantani. The Pachatata Ceremonial Center, which is situated at the highest point of the island of Amantaní, is within walking distance in the afternoon.

After a traditional dinner, you will spend the rest of the evening with your host family.

Day 2Amantani Island - Taquile Island - Puno City

At 6:30 we will get up and have breakfast. Then we will leave for the charming island of Taquile. A short walk will be required to go around this island. You will have the opportunity to see amazing views of the island and the surrounding Lake Titicaca once we reach the main square. We will have lunch in a classic restaurant after that.

We will board our boat to leave Amantani and return to the city of Puno. We plan to arrive in the city of Puno around 3:30. From there we will take you back to your hotel.
