SERVICES AND PRODUCTS OFFERED BY PERU VIVE TRAVEL AGENCY AND ADVENTURE.

  • For the sale of most products/services, Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure acts as a mere intermediary between the passenger and/or user and third-party providers, such as tour operators, airlines, hotels, transportation, etc.
  • The information provided by Peru Vive Travel Agency and Aventure is the responsibility of multiple companies (travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, etc.). They reserve the right to modify the information related to their products and offers, such as the flight route or the characteristics of the trips.
  • All reservations must include at least the following information about the passenger and/or user:
    Full names and surnames, nationality, passport number and/or identity document. Date of birth and Gender.
  • When a reservation is generated, the confirmation will be sent by e-mail to the registered address, in the next 48 hours, in which the existence of the contract and the product subject to it that the User is buying are ratified. In the case of telephone sales, confirmation may be by letter or e-mail.
  • Confirmation of services will proceed after receiving your online reservation or a guarantee deposit.
  • The guarantee deposit is an advance payment of 30% per passenger that is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled.
  • The total payment of the packages / tours must be made 60 days before the indicated date of the beginning of the travel program.
  • Passengers and/or users are responsible for providing their e-mail and contact telephone numbers. If for any reason they do not receive the confirmation email within the established period, they must contact Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure.
  • All service rates via air, train and bus, etc. They are subject to changes and availability, which must be confirmed. By email sent from one of our operators.
  • All values are expressed in US dollars and include all taxes for non-resident tourists in Peru.
  • Services subject to availability, prior confirmation.
  • A child is considered up to 9 years, 11 months and 30 days.
  • The passenger and/or user will be contacted by the tour operator at the place indicated in the travel program or itinerary, after identifying with the passport or identity document and/or mentioning the reservation confirmation code, it will be enough to start the beginning of tourist services.
  • It is the responsibility of the passengers to bring their arrival and departure information with adequate anticipation.
  • In the event that the passenger requires pick up from a specific place other than the one published in the program – itinerary, they must coordinate with Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure.
  • The parts of the package / tour not used by the passengers due to their own decision and / or illness will not be refundable once the package / tour is underway.

INFORMATION ABOUT PASSPORTS, VISAS AND VACCINES

  • It is mandatory that each and every one of the travelers without exception (children included) have their personal and family documentation perfectly in order, either the passport or the D.N.I., taking into account the laws of the destinations they visit. Likewise, before embarking on the trip, they must ensure that they comply with all the rules and requirements regarding visas that are required in the destination country.
  • Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure will not assume in any case the responsibility derived from the breach by the User of any official regulation in this matter.
  • It is necessary to take into account that each country has its own particularities in terms of entry formalities, visas, vaccinations, etc., even depending on the nationality of the passenger. The processing time for these travel requirements may vary on a case-by-case basis. It will be the traveler’s responsibility to get all the necessary information and make sure they have the documentation in order on time. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Before taking any trip, we recommend that you obtain your travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, or even rescue or air ambulance. We also recommend that you record cancellations of your tour as well as lost luggage in your insurance.

AIR-LAND TRANSPORTATION

  • Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure. It acts as an intermediary with the air and land companies. Since they are the ones who determine the rules and regulations that affect your trip, it is recommended that you carefully read the conditions and legislation indicated in the documentation attached to the ticket.
  • In any case, the User will be informed if he is going to travel with a traditional airline, with a low-cost or with a charter flight, before confirming the reservation and proceeding with the payment.
  • The User will completely lose the right to return or change his ticket if the scheduled departure time arrives and without having previously canceled his ticket, he does not show up and what is called a “no show” occurs. Likewise, it is good to keep in mind that plane tickets are nominative and non-transferable, therefore a name change is not allowed on them.
  • In the cases in which the user enters his personal data wrongly and requests the modification of the ticket, as long as it allows modification, an additional cost corresponding to the modification may be applied. In cases where the ticket cannot be modified, 100% of the ticket costs will be applied.
  • It is recommended that the user review their data and verify that they are correct before making the reservation.
  • Parents of minors traveling alone must grant them an official authorization in a large number of cases. Most airlines have an escort service that the User must contract for the minor and that must be paid at the airport in addition to the price of the ticket. In other cases, the airline does not allow minors to travel without an adult accompanying them. Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure recommends that you contact Customer Service or the airline directly before purchasing an air ticket for an unaccompanied minor.
  • IATA airlines or land transport companies have no responsibility for any act or event that passengers may suffer while they are not on board the plane, train or bus.

BAGGAGE:

  • Baggage transportation is limited to (23 Kg) per passenger for all domestic flights and local ground carriers if there is no other indication.
  • The transport of luggage by train (Perurail) is limited to a bag or backpack that must weigh
  • A maximum of 5 kg/ 11 lb and cannot measure more than 157 cm (height + length + width), luggage that does not meet these measurements will not be allowed on the train.

FOODS:

  • In all air and ground transportation services, meals and snacks are served according to the carrier’s policy.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY PACKAGES- PROGRAMS.

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS (INDIVIDUAL PASSENGERS)

  • No Show (not showing up to take the service) is considered 100% non-refundable.
  • Cancellations within 15 days prior to the date of the trip are considered a 100% penalty, that is, no type of refund will be considered.
  • Cancellations made 16 days to 31 days prior to the date of the trip are considered 30% of Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties according to the internal policies of each provider involved.
  • Cancellations from 32 days or more prior to the date of the trip are considered 20% of Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties according to the internal policies of each provider involved.
  • Once the sale is closed, any modification or correction is subject to 10% (with a minimum of 10.00 dollars) for Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties or rate differences according to the internal policies of each service provider involved.
  • Blocked packages do not allow changes and are not refundable for any reason.
  • When the package contains airline tickets, consider that these are non-refundable, so once issued and in the event of any subsequent cancellation request, this would not apply.
  • The aforementioned Cancellation and Modification Policies can be modified during the high season period, according to the requirements of our suppliers, we suggest that you request information before closing the sale.

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS (GROUPS):

  • No Show (not showing up to take the service) is considered 100% non-refundable, no refund will be considered.
  • Cancellations within 60 days prior to the date of the trip are considered a 100% penalty, that is, no type of refund will be considered.
  • Cancellations made from 61 days to 90 days prior to the date of the trip are considered 30% of Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties according to the internal policies of each provider involved.
  • Cancellations from 91 days or more prior to the date of the trip are considered 20% of Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties according to the internal policies of each provider involved.
  • Once the sale is closed, any modification or correction is subject to 10% Administrative Expenses + the corresponding penalties or rate differences according to the internal policies of each supplier involved.
  • Blocked packages do not allow changes and are not refundable for any reason.
  • When the package contains airline tickets, consider that these are non-refundable, so once issued and in the event of any subsequent cancellation request, this would not apply.
  • The aforementioned Cancellations and Modifications Policies could be modified during the high season period and according to the requirements of our providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS

  • The obligation of the services not provided due to the negligence of Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure, will be limited to the real cost of the omitted services and excludes all the consequences or indirect costs.
  • In such an eventual case, Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure will do its best to bring arrangements of similar value, subject to availability.
  • Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure, acts as an intermediary between tourist service companies and passengers and/or users for the reservation and payment of services. In the event the service company stops operating due to internal work problems, force majeure or for other reasons, or the service provider company declares itself financially insolvent, with the formalities required by the corresponding Peruvian legislation, the reimbursement of the Services not provided will be carried out within the aforementioned periods and in the terms established by the Peruvian authorities, for each specific case.
  • Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure, by publishing these tourist services, travel packages-programs, tours, plane tickets, etc., is responsible for requiring the contracted service companies to provide the services and accommodations offered to passengers and /or user, since they are declared in the itinerary of the published program and/or on our website.
  • The passenger and/or User accepts that Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure has no obligation and is not responsible for the services offered but not rendered, in cases of adverse weather conditions, fortuitous event, or natural disasters that cannot be foreseen. Likewise, he acknowledges that there will be no responsibility in the event of political movements, strikes, wars, pandemics, economic crisis, accidents or any other public act beyond the control of Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure. In this case, the value of the contracted service will not be refundable.
  • Travel programs – tours in case the means of transportation (bus, plane, train, etc.) chosen by the passenger does not arrive at the destination on the scheduled date and time, where the program or tour reserved by the passenger begins and/or The user acknowledges that neither Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure nor the Tour Operator have responsibility for the non-provision of the reserved services; The tour operator will provide services for the corresponding portion from the arrival of the passenger and/or user. The unrealized portion of the program is non-refundable.
  • The passenger and/or user accepts that Peru Vive Travel Agency and Adventure as an intermediary of tourist service companies has neither obligation nor responsibility for the loss or damage or injury sustained in relation to the tourist services and accommodations provided by the railway operators of buses, local tour companies, tour operators, ship companies,
