Itinerary

Day 1Puerto Maldonado - Monkey Island

Transfer from the bus or airport to the office, where customers can deposit any luggage that is not going on the tour. We next take a motorized boat from the port 15 minutes downstream to our lodge, where we settle into our comfortable rooms with the help of our guide. Later, while we walk around the resort’s pathways, our guide will discuss the local flora and wildlife.

After lunch, we take a 20-minute boat ride to the island of monkeys, where we have a great chance to see the island’s five different species of monkeys. Next, we get ready to head back to the lodge, where we observe caimans with the aid of flashlights at dusk and see red-eyed alligators. Day 2Parrot Collpa - Tambopata Reserve "Lago Sandoval"

You may watch numerous kinds of parrots assemble at the Madre de Dios River’s wall to eat clay in a multicolored show of flight and calls by visiting the parrot clay lick cachuela very early in the morning at 5:00 am. It’s a trek that takes around 50 minutes. After returning to the inn for breakfast, we’ll get ready to head back to Puerto Maldonado and then to the bus stop or airport.
