Itinerary

Day 1Arrival In Lima (Altitude: 154 m)

Arrival in Lima: Reception at Lima airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
Overnight in Lima.

Day 2Lima – City Tour In Lima

At the scheduled time, visit the city’s main square, surrounded by historic buildings such as the Government Palace and Lima Cathedral.

San Francisco Convent: Tour one of Lima’s most important colonial complexes, famous for its underground catacombs.
Catacombs of San Francisco: A tour through the convent’s catacombs, which hold the remains of thousands of people buried during colonial times.

Lunch at Punto Azul to enjoy ceviche, one of Peru’s most iconic dishes.
Overnight in Lima.

Day 3Lima – Excursion To Caral (Altitude: 350 m)

Caral is the oldest city in the Americas, over 5,000 years old. It was one of the most advanced urban centers of its time. On this full-day excursion, you’ll explore Caral’s pyramids, plazas, and temples while learning about the ancient Caral-Supe civilization.
Overnight in Lima.

Day 4Lima To Paracas – Ballestas Islands And Nazca Lines Overfligh

Transfer to Paracas (Altitude: 0 m):

Early departure to Paracas by tourist bus (approx. 3.5 hours).

Ballestas Islands Tour:
Boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, a natural paradise where you’ll see sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and a variety of seabirds. You’ll also view the famous Candelabra geoglyph on the coast.

Afternoon in Huacachina Oasis (Altitude: 406 m):
Arrival in Ica for a thrilling buggy ride over desert dunes and sandboarding.
Optional: Vineyard tour in Ica to taste Peru’s famous pisco and wine.

Day 5Nazca Lines Overflight And Return To Lima

Transfer to Nazca (Altitude: 520 m):

Early departure from Ica to Nazca by bus (approx. 1 hour).

Nazca Lines Overflight:
A 30-minute flight to view the famous desert figures—geometric shapes, animals, and human forms—only visible from the air.

Return to Lima:
After the flight, return to Lima by bus.

Day 6Flight From Lima To Arequipa (Altitude: 2,335 m)

Early flight from Lima to Arequipa.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Free afternoon to explore Arequipa’s Plaza de Armas and Cathedral.
Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 7First Day In Colca Canyon (Altitude: 3,600 m – 4,200 m)

Early departure to Colca Canyon.
Stops at Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve to see vicuñas and alpacas.

Chivay:
Arrival in the picturesque town of Chivay and free time for lunch.

Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint:
Enjoy spectacular views of Colca Canyon—one of the deepest in the world—and watch majestic Andean condors in their natural habitat.

Return to Arequipa:
Scenic drive back through traditional valley towns.

Day 8Travel From Arequipa To Puno (Altitude: 3,830 m)

Pickup from hotel and transfer to the bus terminal.
Departure at 1:00 PM, arrival in Puno at 8:30 PM.
Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9Lake Titicaca – Uros And Taquile Islands

Visit the floating Uros Islands, built from totora reeds by an ancestral community that has preserved its traditions for centuries.

Taquile Island:
Boat trip to Taquile Island, known for its stunning landscapes and rich culture. Enjoy a typical lunch and learn about its UNESCO-recognized textile traditions.
Return to Puno in the late afternoon.

Day 10Train Journey From Puno To Cusco (Altitude: 3,400 m)

Departure at 7:30 AM

Then visit Ollantaytambo, with its massive terraces and ancient fortress.
Return to Cusco.

Day 13Machu Picchu (Altitude: 2,430 m)

Pickup and transfer to the train station.
Arrival in Aguas Calientes, transfer to the bus station.
Bus ride to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
